Toggling on the Dual-Factor Authentication will allow for an extra layer of security on accounts to ensure all accounts and PHI are kept safe and secure. When this is on, you'll get a text with a code to enter into the login page. This means that even if your password is compromised, your account won't be. Please use the following steps to activate Dual-Factor authentication.
- Click Setting (the gear icon) in the upper right-hand corner.
- Once in Settings, scroll down and find the Text/SMS Alerts area.
- Select the alerts you wish to receive
- Enter the SMS number you wish to use and click Update.
- At the top of the page, click Security.
- You will see the options to enable Dual-Factor Authentication and Send Verification code.
- Click on Send verification code
- You will receive a code via text message.
- Enter the code into the space provided on the Security page and click Verify.
- Click Enable Dual-Factor Authentication to complete the process.
